Accessibility Statement
1. Our commitment
WishPride strives to make its platform accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We consider accessibility a factor of inclusion and equal access to social expression.
2. Legal framework and micro-enterprise exemption
WishPride falls under Directive (EU) 2019/882 ('European Accessibility Act' or EAA), applicable since 28 June 2025, transposed into French law in particular by Decree No. 2023-1085 of 27 November 2023 and by the General Repository for Accessibility Improvement (RGAA 4.1). WishPride benefits from the 'micro-enterprise' exemption provided for in Article 4(5) of Directive (EU) 2019/882: companies with fewer than 10 employees and annual turnover below 2 million euros (thresholds that WishPride meets in V1). As such, we are not legally required to comply with all the detailed technical requirements of RGAA 4.1 or to publish a formal multi-year accessibility plan. We nonetheless voluntarily commit to respect, within our means, the principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) level AA.
3. Current compliance status
As of the publication date of this declaration, WishPride has not been the subject of a formal RGAA audit by an independent third party. A full audit will be planned upon exceeding the micro-enterprise exemption thresholds. The following accessibility principles are applied by default in the platform source code: • Semantic HTML structure (article, section, header, nav, hierarchical h1-h2-h3 tags). • Colour contrast compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA in design tokens. • Touch targets of at least 44 × 44 pixels on mobile. • Translated aria-labels for all icon buttons via the internationalisation system. • Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion user preference for animations. • Keyboard navigation natively supported on all interactive components.
4. Technologies used
WishPride is built with Next.js 15, React, CSS Modules and the lucide-react icon library. The site is tested for compatibility with the main screen readers: NVDA and JAWS on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, TalkBack on Android. Confirmed compatibility with modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge (two latest major versions).
5. Feedback mechanism
If you encounter an accessibility issue or have a suggestion for improvement, you can contact us at accessibility@wishpride.com. Specify the page concerned (URL), your assistive technology and the problem encountered. We commit to reviewing your report within 30 days and to providing a fix or alternative solution within a reasonable timeframe depending on technical complexity.
6. Remedy
If you consider that our response to your report is not satisfactory, you may refer the matter to the Defender of Rights (Défenseur des droits), an independent authority responsible for defending the rights and freedoms of citizens in France: Le Défenseur des droits Libre réponse 71120, 75342 Paris CEDEX 07, France Online form: https://formulaire.defenseurdesdroits.fr Phone: +33 9 69 39 00 00
7. Future commitment
As soon as WishPride exceeds the micro-enterprise exemption thresholds provided for by the European Accessibility Act, we will implement: • A complete RGAA 4.1 audit carried out by an independent provider. • Publication of a multi-year accessibility plan (3 years) and an annual plan. • Calculation and publication of a compliance rate by RGAA sampling. • A dedicated accessibility contact point with formalised time commitments. This declaration will be updated upon any major change in our status or compliance level.
