In the Silence of the Ropes
Thank you so much for creating this group around shibari. For me, shibari is much more than a sexual act: it is an art lived intensely by two people, with trust and attention. For once, we truly take the time. The time to settle in properly, to feel the ropes being placed, the caresses, the breath and the breathing. We even sometimes notice the small hesitations of the person tying the knots. There is no need to speak: a connection arises naturally. We have only practiced shibari a very few times so far, but it is something I have always been drawn to. My favorite moment remains the one when Monsieur unties me. My wrists are still sensitive and he gently caresses them, taking the time to check that every part of my body is fine and has not been hurt. That moment of care after the ropes is fully part of the experience for me. Thank you again, Monsieur, for creating this group. Vicky
