I’ve just finished reading King Kong Theory by Virginie Despentes. An incredible book, shaking up many preconceived ideas about femininity, porn and prostitution. It took me a long time to read King Kong Theory because I struggled with Virginie Despentes’ writing. But after reading it, I understand her style and I completely agree with it. What a book! It speaks to me deeply, puts words to feelings. I loved it! A must-read whatever our gender.

"Being self-conscious, that’s what femininity is. Invisible. Listen well. Don’t shine too much intellectually. Just educated enough to understand what a handsome man has to say. Chat.
